Summer Beauty and Fashion Essentials:)

Makeup:

 -Face Mousturizer:

we all know during the summertime our skincare routine can get a little lazy but this is one step that you can not miss!!! all the chlorine in the pools and salt in the ocean will dry out your skin! so you need to moisturize. also it will illuminate your skin and make it look a lot healthier.

-Waterproof mascara:

So when you jump in the pool or the ocean and not have to worry about your removing your makeup! Also the kind I have been loving recently is the Maybe-line Rocket voluminous mascara the waterproof version obviously.This doesn't clump your lashes and it makes them look really long and thick without having to use eyeliner which is good during the summer!!

-BB cream:

Say good-bye to that heavy foundation!! take a break if you find the right BB cream it can actually make your face look more flawless! I use the Maybe-line BB cream it has good coverage and is more natural for the summer time. The formula of this cream is also good for any kind of skin combination! I have really dry skin on my face and it doesn't make my skin look flaky at all.

-Bronzer:

This is a very important part of makeup while i know most of the people i know step this part but i think it add something to your makeup. OH yeah it makes you look more tan!!! This is great especially if you don't tan this is a great to apply and you will instantly look like a tan beauty queen. 

Hair:

- Sea salt spray:

This is great for summer and the effortless look that has know been coming into style all you have to do with this is as soon as you get out of the shower air dry your hair for about 15 minutes and then spray a sea salt spray in your hair I recommend just buying one then diying it, this way your waves will turn out better I use the not your mothers beachy waves and it works good but anyway, you blow dry it after you spray the formula into your hair ( blow drying it works better if you do it upside down and you scrunch it while you are drying it) and there you go!

-Messy buns:
for on the go and lazy bum styles.

Fashion:

-flannels around the waist;

this is a very big trend I have been chasing. everyone has been loving the 'bum' style for summer the laid back i dont care look and with this comes of course flannels but not just wearing them, tying them around the waist, it just gives a very cute look to an outfit!

-Overals:

yes a classic is coming back! these are perfect to throw on but there is one problem for me is when I bend over I get a major wedge! which is very painful i guess im to tall.

-Printed flowy pants/ shorts:

this has also been a big trend lately printed pants not just leggings but pant these are extremely comfy, cute and a new thing that you can pair with any outfit to spice it up. Also they come in shorts which to be honest these look like pjs to me!!

Cover Girl Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation: Review

 

Coverage:
The Coverage of this foundation is amazing. I don't even have to wear concealer that is well simply because it is a 3-in-1 it has a primer, concealer, built into one. It even lasts through hot weather during the summertime and it is very smooth and covers any of my unwanted pimples/ blemishes although I still set it with my Rimmel London Stay Matte powder which there will be a review coming up soon so be sure to check for that.


Price:
I am not going to lie about the price it runs around 9- 10$ that is a pretty good deal for a drugstore foundation. This foundation is actually a very good pretty inexpensive price for the quality of the foundation its self and it is found at like Wal-Mart. Target, Cvs, Walgreens, if you are out of the u.s reading this i'm not so sure where to find it!

Color/ tip:
As you can see above I am in the shade buff beige and to be honest if you already own a perfect shade of foundation for your skin but summer is around the corner or Spring Break then I would suggest getting any shade you want as your face gets darker and tanner mix a little of the more darker foundation in with it not a lot it just depends on how tan you actually get.

How to Contour and apply blush.

Hello My loves,
 Today I'm back with a beauty related blog and I will be doing a how to contour and apply blush blog. I hope you guys like this and if you want me to do like any more makeup  tutorials then just comment down below any specific ones you want me to do I've been trying to do more Beauty related things because that was really my intention but the title is beauty by brunette it just makes more sense. Contouring:

 

-Bronzer:

bronzer can make you look Brazilian or like an orange blob. So here a few ways to get the Brazilian look. First thing you need to do is a little crazy or should I say weird so start out by making a fishy face and puckering your lips together like you're getting ready to give someone a big kiss and whatever you do this there should be lines on the side of your face kind of creases and that is where you going to lightly I apply your desired bronzer color I would do like three shades darker than your original skin tone. Down below I have a picture of my fishy and how to apply the bronzer.  Another way to get a brown glow is to apply the bronzer on each side of your nose it just accentuate the nose and it makes it seem smaller.

Highlight:

Now for highlights my favorite brand is benefit because they always have the best light highlights and for how you apply it you put it underneath and above your blush to make it stand out and give your face more of a shape. Also you can apply it right under your bronzer and on your forehead in the corners to kind of brighten up your face

Blush:

Now applying blush is a lot simpler than people make it or it seems all you have to do is smile and then apply it to apples of your cheek for me it's a little different since I have higher cheekbones which over the years I have become to love but all you do is if you have higher cheekbones you apply it directly under them for more depth.  it's the opposite if you have low cheekbones you apply blush higher it just is always look better that way.

~Colors:

Now for colors its pretty optional its just whatever you prefer but I like to get the little sets with all the  swirl blush it has different colors in them and you just swirl them together and it creates is very pretty tone of blush.

Hello my loves, today I am going to do 101 beauty tips for you guys this includes hair and nails so it wont be as hard for me but I hope you enjoy because this took me a while and it was from personal experience so be sure these tips WILL come in handy also I thought a few more tips from someone elses prospective was a good idea some were used from this website- Credit:http://beautyhigh.com/beauty-tips-for-girls/ .

1.  Use liquid foundation instead of powder foundation.
2. Put white shadow towards the inner corner of your eye for that more ''awake'' look. 
3. CONTOUR! you could do nothing else but this and look FLAWLESS!
4. For more voluminous and full looking eyelashes stick to non- waterproof mascara.
5. Curl your lashes!
6. When to lazy to do your hair put it in a bun and straighten the side pieces (baby hair) for a more straight and polished look.
7. Wear eyeliner on your top lid to define and bring out your lashes.
8. This may sound gross but don't wash your hair everyday. It makes your hair even more oily than you think try to stick to every other day.
9. ALWAYS smile:) in instantly boost your confidence and your appearance!
10. Use eye cream around the cuticles for soft nails.
11. If you have oily skin luckily I don't but I used to now I have dry skin but anyway using oil blotting sheets keeps your skin oil free and smudge free.
12. When spraying perfume spray in these areas.. ( behind the neck, wrists, behind the knee, and the neck) this helps your perfume to stay strong and long all day.
13. Always allow about two fingers from your nose to where blush starts.
14. If you have small lips only apply your lip-gloss in the middle of your lips for a ''plumping'' affect.
15. To make your cheek bones appear higher, use bronzer under the cheekbone and highlighter on the actual cheekbone. But for this isn't my problem because I have naturally high cheek bones.
16. Before you blow dry, start with a volumizing spray or light gel to give the roots some lift.
17. To make your eyelashes even more ''perky'' take your blow dryer and eyelash curler and blow dry it for about 5 seconds then put on eyelashes BE CAREFUL IT MAYBE HOT!!
18. For clear skin, look for a cleanser with salycilic acid.
19. Summer tip- Sunscreens that claim to provide “all-day protection” and “water resistance” are not reliable; don’t be fooled by these claims and reapply all sunscreens at least every two to three hours.
20. To make curls last, make sure hair is completely dry before you begin with the curling iron.
21. To make a zit go away faster, don’t pick at it. The bacteria on your fingeres will create more redness.
22. If you have greasy hair, avoid directly conditioning roots and condition from your ear down to ends.
23. Always use a moisturizer with SPF in the morning. Even in the winter!
24. Remember, clean brushes to fight against potential bacteria and breakouts!
25. Clean out your makeup bag at least once a year to get rid of old products that may be expired or you no longer use.

    This kinda goes with the one before but don't use the same mascara for over 4-6 months!!
27. If you don’t have nail polish remover, apply clear nail polish over and then wipe off. It will remove old polish.
28. During the summer, wear chapstick or lip gloss with SPF.Also face cream!
29. To add volume to clean or unwashed hair, use a dry shampoo spray.
30. To get curls when you have straight hair, use the following, “a volumizer or volume thickening agent, a curl enhancing product, light holding finishing spray”- Vicktor Stevenson, Hair Stylist
31. Foundation should never be heavy but it you think your foundation doesn't have enough coverage use a bit of concealor for your extra insecurities your beautiful!
32. Use a shimmer eye shadow to compliment a bold matte lip.
33. Do your brows even if you don't have time for eyeliner or even mascara do your brows it will focus their eyes more towards your hair because it looked like you spent time.
34. Use your concealer as a base on your eyelids expectially if your like me and have veins that don't look that cute it acts both as a primer and a concealor.
35.  If you’re not a fan of liquid liner, get the look of liquid eye liner by using a gel instead. Just be sure to have the wipes near by.
36. Exfoliate before applying self tanner to get rid of dead skin. Tanning products tend to cling to dryer areas.
37. Use heat protectant on your hair before using any styling tools.
38. If you have time then let your hair air dry instead of blow drying it will not damage your hair as bad.
39. Do not rap your hair up in a towel when you get out of the shower this causes more split ends.
40. Also use a wide- toothed combed instead of a brush when your hair is wet this just pulls out your hair.
41. To contour cheeks, use a matte powder (a few shades darker than your skin tone) with an angled brush. Blend on temples and under cheek bone.
42. Use a total face brush instead of a blush brush for blush for a more ''natural'' look.
43. For makeup that lasts all day and night, use setting spray. or this may sound weird use hairspray on your face to make sure everything stays on longer.
44. Clip your nails often for healthy and strong nails.
45. To reduce unwanted shine, use a moisturizer that mattifies, that way you get the moisture your skin needs without looking greasy.
46. Try things out. try new products that doesn't mean going to Sephora and buying the most expensive thing there you could find.
47. Use whitening tooth paste it just adds more to your makeup.
48. pluck your plows often for them to look more sleek and clean.
49. Get your hair cut often I would say every 6 weeks to grow your hair nice and long and healthy.
50. Pop 1-2 Advil before going waxing to prevent pain.

Review: Baby Skin Primer

Review: Baby Skin Primer

Okay this has been going around the blogging world for a few weeks now. The Baby Skin primer by Maybeliene everyone is saying that it is a ''Dupe'' for the Benefit Porefessionals witch I may believe. I have used this product now for about 3 weeks just to get the goods and bads on the product. Remarkably I do not have that many bad things at all to talk about.

Price wise:

As for the Baby skin product at most drugstores such as Walmart, or Target you will find the best deals I found mine at Walmart for around $5.50 this is a ''Dupe'' price for the Benefit Porefessionals honestly I haven't had the Full-size primer personally put I have used samples that came in sets and things like that. I know the Benefit one runs around for the full size bottle about $30.00.

Product:

Baby Skin primer is a clear gel like substance I rub it onto my face and concentrating on my nose this product is also used for instantly removing the ability to see your pores and minimizes them. The probably only thing about this product that I have an issue with is the residue it leaves behind. Don't get me wrong the product does what it says it makes your skin very soft and it minimizes your pores. It does leave a oily residue on your hands and so therefore I like to wash my hands after I use this product but I love it.

 

Would I purchase again?

Yes,

I would purchase again I love this product and what it does expecially for the price.I also very highly recommend this product so you should go and give it a try. I am thinking about investing in the full size benefit primer I don't know when I will but maybe in a while I could do a comparison blog so please comment and follow me:)
